Take a Look at Leaked Valorant Mobile Gameplay
As the mobile version of League of Legends, Wild Rift, reached excellent results, Riot Games is also developing a mobile version of Valorant. The game will have the same core mechanics and look the same as the PC version, with some adjustments to make it mobile-friendly.
The games in Valorant Mobile will be shorter to make them convenient for mobile users. It is still unknown how many rounds will Valorant mobile matches have, but it is rumored the rounds will last 100 seconds. Also, we still don't know if all Agents and maps will be included on release.
First look at Valorant mobile gameplay
The new high definition 3-minute clip emerged on YouTube, showing Chinese gameplay of Jett on Ascent. It shows a lot of details that potential Valorant mobile fans would like to see:
As you can see, the control layout is very similar to already known mobile shooter games such as PUBG. You move your character with a joystick, with designated customizable buttons for your abilities, shooting, crouching, jumping, etc.
We also got to take a look at the Valorant Mobile shop, which is a bit different from the PC version. While the layout is slightly different, the guns and the prices are the same.
When will Valorant mobile be released?
We expect Valorant Mobile beta to be released by the end of 2022 or early 2023. However, the question remains where in the world will it be available, as many believe Southeast Asia will be the first region to get access.
Riot General Manager Justin Hulog commented on how the mobile version might arrive in Southeast Asia first.
"In many ways, it does make sense to potentially go out in Southeast Asia first," Hulog said. "But there are also unique challenges and very high expectations for how a game should perform on mobile. That could mean that we may look at other regions that are less demanding first."
"Valorant Mobile is going to have a really big focus in Southeast Asia just because of the fact that it is a mobile-first region," Hulog added, pointing out the benefits of a later release.
"But whether it comes first is a question that we need to weigh. One of the nice things about not going first is that it gives us time to work out the bugs."
All in all, Valorant Mobile is coming relatively soon, and it looks rather exciting. Having an original Valorant experience on the go on your phone will surely attract a lot of Valorant fans.
