TFT Summit Recap
The TFT Summit took place over the weekend with 36 players from NA participating in the for fun LAN tournament.
The tournament format was branded as a success to multiple community members, who enjoyed the content provided by the stream during the four-day event.
Format
Day 1 - random lobbies, 3 lobbies / 3 games,
Day 2 - lobbies shuffled based on day 1 lobby results, 3 lobbies / 3 games,
Day 3 - 3 lobbies/ 3 games, top 3 teams after 9 games of play move to the Finals. Teams ranked 4th to 11th will get one last shot and duke it out in the Wild Card, the winning team advancing to the Finals as the fourth team.
Wildcard - rank 4-11 divided into 2 lobbies using snake format. After 1 game, the top 2 of each lobby play a final game. Points reset and then the winning team of the final game advances to the finals as the fourth team.
Finals - top 3 from Group Stages & Winning team of Wild Card play in a checkmate format with points reset. Players will rise to the Summit by getting a win after their Team reaches 40 points.
In the event a player does not secure a win after their Team reaches 40 points, the first team to achieve 54 points Wins!
Following the intense four-day event, Team Masterchef with players Kurumx and Souless won the tournament for bragging rights.
