Team Composition Tier List 12.23

Patch 12.23 is the latest patch which brought the new Monsters Attack! set. While the meta is far from being solved, there are a couple of compositions which are currently being contested. Here are the best five compositions of Patch 12.13:

3 Aegis, 2 Sureshot
6 Ox Force, 6 Renegade
6 Ox Force, 3 Aegis
3 Gadgeteen, 2 A.D.M.I.N.
5 Mecha: Prime, 4 Brawler

3 Aegis, 2 Sureshot

Key units: Aphelios, Leona

Key items: Recurve Bow, Needlessly Large Rod, B.F. Sword, and Chain Vest (aim to create Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, and Hand of Justice)

This composition is the strongest build in the game with Aphelios as the primary carry and Leona as best frontline soaking all damage. Most units are expensive so you'll need to rush high level to be able to purchase them before your enemies. Until then, pick up the required key item components to buy the required items for Aphelios to carry.

Once you have Aphelios, funnel all the powerful items onto him and watch him demolish the opposing team with ease. Make sure to position Leona properly in the frontline to soak as much damage as possible.

6 Ox Force, 6 Renegade

Key units: Aphelios, Viego

Key items: Recurve Bow, Needlessly Large Rod, B.F. Sword, and Chain Vest (aim to create Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, and Renegade Emblem)

This composition is the secondary strongest build in the game with Aphelios as the primary carry and Viego as a secondary carry. Most units cheap and so if you don't have a good early game, it's easy to pivot into this composition.

As you pick up the required items, funnel them onto either Viego or Aphelios, whoever you get first and watch them demolish the opposing team without any issues.

6 Ox Force, 3 Aegis

Key units: Terra, Ao Shin

Key units: Aphelios, Viego

Key items: Recurve Bow, Needlessly Large Rod, B.F. Sword, and Chain Vest (aim to create Guinsoo's Rageblade, Giant Slayer, and Renegade Emblem)

This composition is similar to 6 Ox Force, 6 Renegade, except it uses some tanky Aegis units to make your composition much harder to kill by your opponents. As you pick up the required items, funnel them onto either Viego or Aphelios, whoever you get first and watch them demolish the opposing team while your frontline soaks all damage due to how tanky Aegis units are.

3 Gadgeteen, 2 A.D.M.I.N.

Key units: LeBlanc, Zoe

Key items: Tear of the Goddess, B.F. Sword, Sparring Gloves, Needlessly Large Rod (aim to create Blue Buff, Morellonomicon, and Jeweled Gauntlet)

This composition works out great with Zoe or LeBlanc as carries. They will do a lot of damage if you equip them with the key items listed. Most units are relatively cheap so you can rush this composition every game with ease.

Aim to pick up the required item components to build Blue Buff to empower your carries early on. Afterwards, build towards other key items and equip them to either LeBlanc or Zoe to make them stronger.

5 Mecha: Prime, 4 Brawler

Key units: Riven, Jax

Key items: Recurve Bow, Needlessly Large Rod, B.F. Sword, and Chain Vest (aim to create Guinsoo's Rageblade, Bloodthirster, and Titan's Resolve)

This composition focuses on stacking Mecha: Prime and Brawler units to build a wide, beefy composition that will be hard to take down by your opponents. This composition works best against opponents who play burst compositions since you'll be able to easily survive the burst and then run them down with your composition.
