Superbrawl Event Recap
The latest competitive event in EMEA has crowned its victor. The top 32 players across 9 regions in EMEA participated during the weekend for a chance of winning a title and qualifying for the set 7 EMEA finals.
The players battled from Sep 2 to Sep 4 after qualifying via various regional competitions. They played 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. After the first day was concluded, the top 16 players moved on to the second day. The players once again played 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games to decide the final 8 players who advanced to the third day of the event. The final 8 played 6 rounds to decide the victor.

The competition was fierce with the best 8 players from diverse countries across the EMEA fighting tooth and nail for a chance of going to the set 7 EMEA finals. After four rounds, five players reached checkmate. Deisik, the leader in the standings, had a rough fifth game and picked up only one point but was able to turn it around the next round, finishing first and claiming the title.
The top 3 players qualified for the set 7 EMEA finals which will take place between Nov 4 and Nov 6. The top 4 players of that tournament will receive a qualification for the set 7 world championship.
