Patch 12.12 Update

With 12.13 not dropping until next week while Riot takes a company wide break, several champions have received mid-patch updates.

Bot Lane

Despite a number of nerfs, Senna has continued to be an oppressive pick in solo queue and pro play. The latest set of nerfs affect her as an ADC and a support:

  • Base health - 530, down from 560
  • Q (Piercing Darkness) - damage reduced to 30/65/100/135/170, down from 40/70/100/130/160
  • W (Last Embrace) - root duration reduced to 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds, down from 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25

This makes her more vulnerable while reducing her damage output and CC potential.  Her frustrating partner in crime, Tahm Kench, has also received a slight nerf to his tankiness and damage output:

  • Health growth - 103, down from 109
  • Passive (An Acquired Taste) - 8-60 (levels 1-18) (+3% bonus health), down from +4% bonus health

Seraphine received a huge buff at the beginning of the patch, increasing the slow/stun duration of her E dramatically. Consequently, this has been reduced slightly after making her way too strong:

  • Passive (Stage Presence) - AP ratio per note reduced to 7% at all levels, down from 6/7/8/9% (levels 1/6/11/16)
  • E (Beat Drop) - slow/stun duration reduced to 1.25 seconds, down from 1.5 seconds

She will now be dealing less damage from her passive, so this nerf affects her role in the bot and mid lanes more than when she's a support. Nevertheless, her E CC is still stronger by .25 seconds and Seraphine will still be an effective pick in the meta. Caitlyn also received some changes after struggling in the meta for a while:

  • AD growth increased to 3.8, up from 3.4
  • Passive (Headshot) - bonus physical damage increased to 60/85/110% total AD (levels 1/7/13), up from 50/75/100%
  • Headshot crit chance ratio - 120%, up from 100%
  • W (Yordle Snap Trap) - headshot damage reduced to 40/85/130/175/220 (+40/50/60/70/80% bonus AD), up from 60/105/150/195/240 (+40/55/70/85/100% bonus AD)

Although her combos will be weaker after rooting a target with her W, she will be dealing a lot more sustained damage from her passive headshots and increased AD.

Jungle

Bel'Veth has continued to be an exceptional pick since her debut, so has received another round of nerfs to her damage and survivability:

  • AD growth decreased to 1.7, down from 2
  • Health growth reduced to 99, down from 105
  • E (Royal Maelstrom) lifesteal reduced to 20%, reduced from 20/21.5/23/24.5/26%
  • Cooldown increased to 22/20.5/19/17.5/16 seconds, increased from 22/20/18/16/14
  • Ultimate (Endless Banquet) bonus health reduced to 100/150/200 (+120% bonus AD) (+90% AP), reduced from 165% bonus AD

Alongside Bel'Veth, Wukong has been a premier pick since his rework. Consequently, he has recieved nerfs to his jungle clear and powerful ultimate:

  • E (Nimbus Strike) - damage against monsters reduced to 120%, reduced from 160%
  • Ultimate (Cyclone) - cooldown increased to 130/110/90 seconds, increased from 120/105/90 seconds

Finally, Shaco has recieved some buffs to his AD build:

  • Passive (Backstab) - bonus AD ratio increased to 25%, up from 15%
  • Q (Deceive) - bonus AD ratio increased to 50%, up from 40%
  • W (Jack in the Box) - cooldown reduced to 15 seconds, down from 16 seconds
  • Box duration increased to 49 (+10% AP), up from 40 (+5% AP)
