WarzoneMania returned for the third year in a row with New York Subliners putting $50,000 up for grabs at the event. Team Aydan ended up securing the biggest share of the prize pool after ending day one with a whopping 128 kills and 229 points. On day two of the event, the team secured the top spot and took home the championship. Unlike Call of Duty League events, WarzoneMania is a more casual event but it has some of the most hype surrounding it in the Warzone esports scene.

WarzoneMania 3 Recap

WarzoneMania is an event that started back in 2020. The first iteration of the event was launched with $100,000 up for grabs. The event features some of the most popular creators and the best players in the COD esports scene. This year, we saw a smaller prize pool of $50,000 allocated for the event but it was just as exciting and Team Aydan dominated the two-day event.

Similar to the 2021 event, the tournament was split into two days. The squads competed in custom lobbies and tried to get as many placement points and kills as possible. Team Aydan secured a whopping 229 points on the first day which made them the leading team and earned them a cool $7,000 on the first day. The top four squads from day one advanced to the finals.

On day two of the event, it was a winner take all format. The squads competed against each other in five games and the last team standing in each game was awarded $5,000. Team Aydan secured a win off the bat in the first game, but Team UnRational shocked everyone with two back-to-back wins.

Team Aydan went home with $12,000 while UnRational’s squad took home $10,000. JoeWo, Swagg, Jukeyz, JDeviseFB, Zlaner, BrittneyRaines, MuteX, Blazt, and Flxnked took home smaller shares of the prize pool based on their placement points and kills on day one as well as their performances on day two. Aydan proved once again that he is one of the best Warzone players out there and his teammates GorgoKnight, MissSweets and zSmit put on solid performances throughout the event to help the team come out on top at this year’s WarzoneMania event.
