Jade Cup Weekend 2 Event Recap

The second cup of set 7 has concluded with Rainplosion winning the event after a dominant performance on the last day of the cup. They won the event with 44 points, with a 3-point advantage over the second-placed players.

All 160 players who participated in the event over the 4-day event received qualifier points toward Regional Finals and the top 4 players automatically qualified for the upcoming Mid-Set Finale that will take place in mid-August.

Weekend 2 event recap

The second weekend began with 64 players playing 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. The top 32 players remaining advanced to the last day of the tournament, where the victor would be decided.

The remaining players played 5 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. The remaining top 8 moved onto the Final Lobby phase. During the final phase, the players played an additional 2 games without a point reset, where Rainplosion played well and finished in the top 4, finishing the day with the highest amount of points and the winner of the Jade Cup.

The top 4 qualified for the Mid-Set Finale that will take place in mid-August with $20,000 on the line. Outside of the prize pool, 4 players will have a chance to earn their spot in the Dragonlands NA Regional Finals happening in October and the title of the best players of Set 7.
