Gamercraft Developer Download: Patch 1.5.1

Hey there Gamercraft community, welcome to your Developer Download for Patch 1.5.1 at Gamercraft! The Developer Download is where our team will update you on the latest news and changes at Gamercraft all in one place.

We know that there are a lot of changes that happen quickly at Gamercraft, some small and some big. We understand that it can be difficult to know where the platform is on a big-picture level due to these updates, so we want to make our communication with you all more seamless and transparent. So from here moving forward, we will do our best to round up our latest updates and what’s coming up at Gamercraft!

Today, rather than wrapping up our last set of updates we’re coming at you with what’s coming up next at Gamercraft. Here's the rundown on updates coming your way:

League of Legends Scoring Update

We've been hard at work refining the scoring system for League of Legends, making it more precise and rewarding. Here's a sneak peek of what's changing:

Adjusted Role Weights:

Role / Sub-Score KDA LP Farm Vision Objectives Specialty
Other 25 15 15 10 10 25
Support 25 15 0 20 15 25

Main Sub-Scores:

  • KDA Score: We've revamped KDA calculations, capped at 25, and introduced penalties for poor KP performance while eliminating the KP subscore.
  • LP Score: LP now considers damage, healing, and tanking, rewarding you for excelling in multiple areas.
  • Farm Score: Farm comparisons are now even more accurate using data against both your team and the enemy team.
  • Vision Score: Vision score calculations have been adjusted to level the playing field for all roles, giving more emphasis on Supports gaining vision.
  • Objectives Score: Objective efforts like damaging turrets, inhibitors, and dragon kills will now be scored more fairly based on your role.

Specialty Scores:

We want to ensure that each role in League of Legends is allowed to shine equally on Gamercraft. In our latest scoring strategy, we’ve also added specialty scores to allow flexibility in our scoring system to accommodate for different playstyles and roles.

To compute your specialty score, we calculate each specialty score individually and select the best one. If your two best specialty scores are close, you'll earn a bonus. It's all about showcasing your unique strengths:

  • CC Score: Compare your total CC dealt with your team and the opposing team, or with the maximum CC in the game (except yours).
  • Duel Score: Your duel score is determined if you're among the top players with the most duel attempts, based on your duel win rate.
  • Gank Score: If you're among the top players with the most gank attempts, your gank score is determined based on your gank win rate.
  • Team Fight Score: Team fights are now defined as any skirmish involving six players or more. If you're among the top players with the most team fight participation, your score is determined based on your team fight win rate.
  • Early Domination Score: We now factor in the difference of gold and XP at 14 minutes between you and your lane opponent, rewarding early-game dominance.

TFT Scoring Update: Remix Rumble

For our Teamfight Tactics enthusiasts, we've heard your feedback loud and clear. Our new scoring system, debuting in Remix Rumble, is designed to make your TFT ladders feel more fulfilling.

Position Points
1st 25
2nd 18
3rd 15
4th 12
5th 8
6th 5
7th 3
8th 1
  • Placement Scoring: We've revamped the placement scoring. It’s possible to play well yet not end up in first place, so we wanted to make sure that players aren’t punished for good games.

Bonus Point Scoring:

Achievement Points
End the game with at least 1 unit of each cost 1
Do 100+ damage to other players 1
Win the game with 8 or more active synergies 1
End top 4 with 1 or more prismatic level synergies 1
End top 4 with 7 or less units on the board 1
End the game with at least 1 completed item on every unit on your board 2
End the game level 10 or above 2
Win the game with 50 or more gold 2
End top 4 with 4 or more 3 star units 2
End the game with a 3 star 4 cost 2
End the game with a 3 star 5 cost 3
  • Bonus Point Scoring: Achievements like diverse units, high damage dealt, and unique synergies will now earn you bonus points.
  • Tie Breakers: In case of ties, we've refined the tie-breaking criteria for a fairer competition.

Tie Breakers:

  1. If two or more players have the same final score, the player with the lowest average placement (best placement) wins
  2. If two or more players are still tied with the same average placement, the player with the player with the fastest game time wins
  3. If two or more players are still tied with the same average placement and same average game time, the player with the highest average number of synergies on end game board.

We hope that this new scoring system for TFT will help create a more well-rounded scoring system that rewards you for hitting vital checkpoints in the game. Let us know your thoughts once our new TFT scoring goes out!

TFT Ladders will be paused the morning of Tuesday, 11/21/23 until after the patch releases to accommodate our new scoring system and to prepare for Remix Rumble. We'll see you soon!

3. Daily Bonus Streaks

Lastly, we're introducing Daily Bonus Streaks. It's our way of saying thanks for your continued support. Here's how it works:

  • Log in up to 7 days in a row to unlock increasing bonuses for your wallet.
  • Claim your streak rewards through your wallet page.
  • Remember, streaks remain active only if you claim them consecutively every day.

4. Issues & Bug Updates:

We know there are some concerns and bugs that users have encountered on the platform. Here are some that we know have affected a lot of people, and here are some next steps regarding those:

  1. Error 502 on ID Verification and Payout Method Verification
Some users are currently encountering Error Code 502 when attempting to add their ID for verification. If you encounter this issue, please reach out to our support team asking for a Manual Verification and they will be able to help you out.
  2. Valorant Ladder Schedule
We've heard the concerns from our small but mighty Valorant community. When scheduling all of our tournaments, they are created in balance with the size of the community. We know that Valorant players want more exciting opportunities, so we'll be putting a larger emphasis on growing our Valorant player base in the next couple of months.
  3. Stuck in Support Chats
We know that some users are having trouble accessing our support team through the current support chat. While going through our support data, our team realized that our support chats have a 100% response rate, which made us investigate further into why users may not be getting through. In the case that this does happen to you, please make sure that you're filling out all the questions from the chatbot to receive the support you need from our team!

And those are all the updates we have for you so far!

The Gamercraft team is continuously committed to enhancing your competitive gaming experience and these updates are just the beginning of what we have in store for you. Your feedback is invaluable, so please share your thoughts with us as you dive into these changes. We’re excited to continue to work with the community to make Gamercraft an even more enjoyable experience and welcome your feedback.

Stay tuned for more exciting developments, and good luck in your tournaments!🏆
