Astral Cup Weekend 2 Event Recap

The first cup of set 7 has concluded with BC Socks winning the event after a dominant performance on the last day of the cup. He won the event with 44 points, with only 1 point advantage over the second-placed player.

All 160 players who participated in the event over the 4-day event received qualifier points toward Regional Finals and the top 4 players automatically qualified for the upcoming Mid-Set Finale that will take place in mid-August.

Weekend 2 event recap

The second weekend began with 64 players playing 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. The top 32 players remaining advanced to the last day of the tournament, where the victor would be decided.

The remaining players played 5 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. The remaining top 8 moved onto the Final Lobby phase. During the final phase, the players played an additional 2 games without a point reset, where BC Socks played well and finished in the top 4, finishing the day with the highest amount of points and the winner of the Astral Cup.

The top 4 qualified for the Mid-Set Finale that will take place in mid-August and all 8 finalists are automatically qualified for Day 3 of the upcoming Jade Cup, which will take place from July 30 until August 7.
